My HP folio 13-2000 running windows 7 cannot play online videos. I use sites such as Netflix and Dailymotion but they are both terrible quality, lagging, and slow to load. Currently netflix is so bad it won't even let me play a show. Youtube for some reason typically works without issue, it sometimes is slow but nowhere near as bad as the other two. Also I know my internet is not the issue since my sister can access Netflix and Dailymotion on the same wifi on her laptop without issue. Please help!
I've been watching some videos on Dailymotion lately, at about first 3 days of watching vids, it loaded perfectly fine. But afterwards, it would stop and after about 30 secs, it plays for a minute or 2, then stop again. I googled some solution, cleared my history, cache and all that, rebooted my computer, still didn't work. Aug 08, 2009 Why are the videos on dailymotion loading so slow? I tried shutting down all my other windows and other programs, etc. Just running one at a time-It still wont load completely. I try to even delete programs off of my computer it still is loading very slow or not at all and freezing.
I'VE GOT A WEIRD ONE HERE: ALL sounds/videos play in slow-motion through computer monitor/speakers...plays flawlessly through HDMI to LCD TV?!?!
Upgraded to Windows 7 on my custom desktop PC and everything worked fine. I'm not sure when it all started exactly, but I decided to plug in my LCD TV through an HDMI cable and without any noticeable problems at first. Watched a movie on my TV through my computer and switched back to monitor afterwards. Opened iTunes and noticed the song was playing in slow motion (deep, delayed). All of a sudden I began to notice EVERYTHING was playing in slow motion (internet videos, windows sound effects, etc). Played each sound (iTunes, videos, windows sound effects) side by side with the TV and discovered the problem lied with the computer speakers/monitor only. TV displayed/sounded perfect.
ASUS COMPUTER TOWER
ATI RAEDON 4800
WINDOWS 7 64 BIT
REALTEK 97' AUDIO DRIVER
So far I've tried:
...several deletions, re-installs of Realtek 97
....other sound drivers
....restarts/clean boots/restore
...sound driver preferences and settings
...different sound jacks on the computer tower
...unplugging HDMI to TV cable
....even reinstalled windows 7, erasing every program I had.
I've been emailing Windows tech support employees for the last two days and they haven't had any luck with this either so far...
